May real estate sales in the Aspen, Snowmass Village and the Woody Creek areas experienced 34 sales above $350,000 totaling over $136 million in sold dollar volume. There are currently 56 properties representing $193 million in pending inventory and our market is remaining healthy and active with sales and new listings. The Aspen core condominium segment is notably low of inventory.
Significant sales for May included 3 sales north of $13 million. The top sale was the renowned Blackbird House estate on Waters Avenue that closed $13.771 million from it’s $16.1 million asking price. The 5 bedroom estate totaled 5,829 square feet and is a modern contemporary work of art with interior and exterior design.
