The early fall sales have felt a little quieter than usual from past years, but it was great to see 38 residential sales over $350,000 at 93% of ask to sold price in the Aspen / Snowmass markets. The October average sales price of $2 million ($1,035.00 per square foot average) is a good trend heading into the Winter season. Pending activity remains strong with 55 residential properties under contract with an average list price of $4.8 million. Significant sales for October started off with a newly remodeled riverfront property on Red Butte that closed from $11.2 million. The 5 bedroom home featured 5,800 square feet of beautifully remodeled spaces with a never to be replaced setting on the Roaring Fork river. Other noteworthy sales included:
